All About Halifax EMC's Annual Meeting
This year's Annual Meeting will prove to be exciting as well
as informative and entertaining. Registration begins at 9 am. A
continental breakfast will be provided by the Halifax EMC Volunteers In Action.
Members may get their blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol checked by nurses from the Halifax County Health
Department and members of the Warren County Rescue Squad. There will be exhibits on
high voltage, Carolina Country magazine, and much more.Activities
will be available for children, such as
a bouncing castle, sno-cones, and popcorn.
A collector's gold dollar will be given to
each of the first 150 members to register. Compact flourescent bulbs and Halifax
EMC caps will be given to each member when they register.
Entertainment will be provided by the Warren County High School
Chorus.
Three directors nominated for re- election to a three-year
term on Halifax EMC's Board of Directors are: Jerry W. Packer, District
3; Robert T. Harris, District 5; and Richard H. Greene, District 7. Nominations
by petitions are due today by 5 pm.

Lunch catered by Bill's Barbecue of Wilson will be served
following the prize drawing.
