Who they are?
Volunteers In Action is a group of Halifax EMC members or members' spouses.
What do they do?
They serve as a public relations arm of the Marketing and Member Services Department in promoting Halifax EMC.
What are some of their activities?
They sponsor:
- Senior citizens Bingo in Warren County, Enfield, and Scotland Neck
- Scholarships for traditional and non-traditional students
- Scholarships for Youth Tourists
- Fundraising activities
They assist with
- Halifax EMC Annual Meeting
- NCEMC Annual Meeting
- Scholarship judging
- 4-H Superball Golf Tournament
- Enfield Peanut Festival
- Fundraising
