Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of principles and practices in the field of electrical distribution and maintenance. Should have an understanding of RUS construction specifications, characteristics of equipment utilized on electric distribution systems, and understand the NESC and applicable portions of the NEC.

Must demonstrate skill in reading and interpreting staking sheets, RUS specifications, and line construction assemblies. Keep active CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as be able to perform pole top and bucket rescue. Must be available for on-call work schedule.
