Sports Camp Scholarships
The shot clock is counting down for rising sixth and seventh graders to apply for a Touchstone Energy Sports Camp Scholarship! Halifax EMC will select one young lady to attend the Wolfpack Women’s Basketball Camp at N.C. State University June 19-22 and one young man to attend the Carolina Basketball School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill June 18–22.

The online applications include two short essays and require a parent or guardian’s signature. Applicants are not required to live in a home served by Halifax EMC, but simply must attend school at a qualifying school in our service area. The application deadline is March 31.

Scholarship winners will receive an all-expenses paid trip to camp (excluding transportation to and from camp), where they will experience life on a college campus, train with college coaches and athletes, and develop skills to help them excel on and off the court. Retired Manager’s Scholarship
Available to graduating high school seniors whose parents/ guardians are HEMC members.

Volunteers In Action Educational Opportunity Scholarship
Must be 18 years old, live in a home serve by HEMC and enrolled in an accredited college.
Deadline: July 1
